Five rounds into the 2026 Ferrari Challenge North America season, Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing continues to build momentum, earning multiple podium finishes at Sonoma Raceway in California.
Ryan Dayton recorded the team’s best result of the weekend, delivering a precise and composed drive to secure second place in the Coppa Shell class on Saturday. He followed his podium appearance with another determined performance on Sunday, finishing ninth in class.
Also competing in Coppa Shell, Michael Owens battled through a challenging opening race to finish 13th in class on Saturday. His weekend turned around on Sunday, as he demonstrated impressive pace and composure to claim third place and another podium result for the team.
In the Coppa Shell AM class, Lance Cawley demonstrated pace and consistency throughout the weekend. He finished eighth in class on Saturday before bringing his Ferrari home in 13th on Sunday. Cawley was also the leading Gentleman-class driver on both days, adding another trophy to his collection and continuing his string of solid performances.
Jeff Kiel completed valuable laps throughout the weekend as he continued his development behind the wheel of his Ferrari. He delivered a composed drive to finish 16th on Saturday, followed by a gritty and determined performance that earned him a 14th-place result on Sunday.
Known for its elevation changes, blind corners, and technical complexity, Sonoma Raceway rewards precision, rhythm, and a thorough understanding of every section of the circuit. With renewed confidence, Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing now turns its attention to Road America in September. The event will mark the final North American round of the Ferrari Challenge season before the team travels to Barcelona, Spain, for the Finali Mondiali in November.
