With the final North American round of the 2026 season on tap, Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing brought plenty of race pace to the famed Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, highlighted by a runner-up finish among several solid performances.
In the Coppa Shell class, Ryan Dayton opened the weekend with a strong qualifying effort, earning third on the starting grid. A busy opening race proved more difficult, however, with Dayton eventually bringing his Ferrari home in 11th.
Dayton came back firing on Sunday with an impressive qualifying performance that put him second on the starting grid, and carried that pace into the race. Holding off the field behind him and delivering a composed drive around the demanding four-mile circuit, Dayton crossed the line in second to close the weekend on the podium.
Also competing in Coppa Shell, Michael Owens delivered a consistent pair of performances. Starting fifth on Saturday, Owens held his position through a competitive race to finish where he started, crossing the finish line in fifth. He lined up sixth on Sunday and once again showed strong pace around Road America, bringing his Ferrari home in sixth to complete a steady weekend at the sharp end of the field.
Competing in the Coppa Shell-AM class, Lance Cawley faced an unusual challenge after both qualifying sessions for his class were abandoned, leaving the starting grids to be determined by championship points and placing him near the back of the field for both races.
Cawley responded with a determined drive to sixth on Saturday before producing one of the team’s strongest charges of the weekend on Sunday. Working his way through the field, he climbed to fourth in Coppa Shell-AM while also taking first in the Gentleman class.
Road America is one of the fastest and most demanding circuits on the Ferrari Challenge calendar, and Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing emerged from the weekend with a podium finish, consistent pace across the team and valuable momentum heading into the season finale.
Ferrari Challenge North America now heads across the Atlantic for the Finali Mondiali in November. Hosted at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the season-ending event will bring the 2026 campaign to a close on one of Europe’s best-known racing circuits.
