Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing officially launched its 2026 Ferrari Challenge North America campaign this past weekend at The Thermal Club, delivering a promising opening performance.
The team was impressive throughout the event, highlighted by a podium finish in Race 2, where Mike Owens secured a strong 3rd place overall. Competing in the Shell category for the first time, Owens demonstrated both pace and adaptability, immediately establishing himself as a front-runner.
Lance Cawley also delivered an outstanding performance, earning 2nd place in the Coppa Gentleman class (Shell-AM). His consistency and race management stood out in a highly competitive field, reinforcing his position as a key talent within the category.
Making his Ferrari Challenge debut, Ryan Dayton impressed with a composed and competitive performance. Racing in the Shell category, Dayton secured a 7th place overall finish, demonstrating steady progression and strong attention to detail throughout the weekend.
The Thermal round marked not only the beginning of the 2026 season, but also a clear reflection of the team’s effective winter preparation and the strength of its driver lineup, contributing to excellent on-track results.
