The legendary Laguna Seca Raceway in California set the stage this past weekend for Round Six of the 2025 Ferrari Challenge North America. Under bright West Coast skies and in front of passionate Ferrari fans,
Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing showcased speed, strategy, and determination—earning multiple podiums and a championship crown.
Race 1 – Saturday: Power, Precision, and a Crown for Cawley
The weekend opened with a thrilling first race.
- Mike Owens drove with precision and pace, fighting through intense competition to seize an outstanding second place overall, reaffirming his reputation as one of the series’ most consistent front-runners.
- Lance Cawley delivered a masterclass in racecraft, claiming a dominant victory in the Gentlemen class. This triumph not only marked a personal milestone but also secured the 2025 Gentlemen Championship title with one round still to go—a remarkable achievement reflecting his dedication and consistency all season.
Race 2 – Sunday: Scalin Shines in Style
Sunday’s second race brought more excitement and another set of trophies.
- Lance Cawley turned in a spectacular performance, storming to an impressive second place overall. His relentless pace and flawless driving earned him victory in the Gentlemen category, capping off an unforgettable weekend for the team.
Looking Ahead – All Roads Lead to Italy
With the North American season now complete, Dilawri Rossocorsa Racing sets its sights on the Ferrari Finali Mondiali, the ultimate global celebration of Ferrari racing.
From October 22 to 26, the team will compete on the legendary Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy, where the very best Ferrari Challenge drivers from around the world will gather for the grand finale of the 2025 season.
And there is even more at stake: Mike Owens and Gabe Hrib will head to Mugello locked in a thrilling battle, as the Shell-AM championship title will be decided at the final round. The showdown promises heart-stopping action until the very last lap.
