Richmond, BC, November 9, 2022 - Porsche Centre Richmond’s new flagship location is officially open in the expansive Richmond Auto Mall (13171 Smallwood Place). The 75,000 square foot state-of-the-art dealership is made possible by a partnership between OpenRoad Auto Group (OpenRoad) and Dilawri Group of Companies (Dilawri). First announced in 2016, the project kicked off in 2019 with the launch of a satellite vehicle showroom and Porsche Design Boutique, which served the region’s customers while work on the permanent building began. Now, six years later, Porsche Centre Richmond has finally opened its doors.
As one of Canada’s largest Porsche dealerships, Porsche Centre Richmond’s three levels include a spacious new and pre-used vehicle showroom, custom guest amenities, a special delivery area, and 15 cutting-edge service bays. The building was specially designed to accommodate Porsche’s full E-Performance range of vehicles, including electric drive and plug-in hybrid models such as the Porsche Taycan, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, and Cayenne E-Hybrid.
The dealership becomes BC’s first Porsche Centre to follow the brand’s new corporate architecture concept, Destination Porsche. The concept is characterized by an emphasis on brand experience and inspiration, flexibility, and use of digital media for individualized communication. Porsche Centre Richmond reflects the brand’s heritage and innovation, and is designed to become a gathering place for the Porsche community.
Porsche Centre Richmond is the second Porsche dealership for either automotive group. OpenRoad currently has Porsche Centre Langley in the Langley Auto Collection in its portfolio, while Dilawri operates Porsche Centre Vancouver.
