The 2024 Subaru Solterra is Subaru’s first-ever all-electric SUV, marking a bold step into the future of sustainable mobility. Built in collaboration with Toyota, the Solterra combines advanced EV technology with Subaru’s legendary all-wheel drive capability, safety, and adventure-ready spirit.

Powered by dual electric motors—one on each axle—the Solterra delivers a total output of approximately 218 horsepower (160 kW) and features standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. This setup provides confident traction and responsive handling, whether you're navigating city streets or heading off the beaten path.

With a 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Solterra offers an estimated driving range of up to 465 km (WLTP) on a single charge. Charging is convenient and flexible, supporting Level 1 (household), Level 2 (public AC), and DC fast charging up to 150 kW, allowing you to charge from 0 to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The exterior design is sleek and contemporary, with bold lines, standard LED lighting, rugged cladding, and a generous ground clearance that highlights its adventurous nature. Inside, the Solterra features a spacious and modern cabin with sustainable materials, an available panoramic roof, and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.

When it comes to safety, the Solterra is equipped with Subaru Safety Sense—a suite of advanced driver-assist features that includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

True to Subaru’s adventurous DNA, the Solterra includes X-MODE® with hill descent control, making it capable and confident in a wide range of driving conditions—now with zero emissions.
