Technical Performance & Engineering Excellence
Built on Mercedes-Benz’s groundbreaking MMA (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture), the CLA 250 Electric sets new standards for EV power and range:
Electric Powertrain: Rear-mounted Permanently Excited Synchronous Motor (PSM) delivering 268 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of instant torque.
Innovative 2-Speed Transmission: Unlike traditional single-speed EVs, the CLA features an advanced two-speed transmission on the rear axle—delivering punchy acceleration off the line and maximum efficiency at highway speeds.
Acceleration: 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds.
Battery & Range: Equipped with an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack offering an estimated driving range of up to 602 kilometers (WLTP) / 550+ km on a single charge.
Ultra-Fast 800V Charging: Charges at speeds up to 320 kW DC fast charging—replenishing 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes, or adding up to 300 km of range in a quick 10-minute coffee stop.
NACS & J1772 Compatible: Standard NACS port integration allows seamless access to the expanding Supercharger network across North America.
Canadian Winter Ready: Includes a standard high-efficiency heat pump that harvests waste heat from the powertrain and ambient air to keep the cabin warm without compromising battery range during cold West Coast winters.
Next-Generation Cabin & Digital Innovation
Inside, the 2027 CLA 250 Electric brings futuristic luxury into daily focus:
4th Gen MBUX Infotainment: Powered by advanced AI from Google and Microsoft for intuitive, natural voice control and personalized driving settings.
Optional MBUX Superscreen: A continuous glass panel spanning the dashboard, featuring an interactive display for the front passenger.
Fixed-Glass Panoramic Roof: Heat-insulating glass floods the cabin with natural light while reflecting heat.
Acoustic & Environmental Comfort: Premium recycled materials, optional Burmester® 3D Surround Sound, and level 2 semi-autonomous driving assist features.
