The 2026 Palisade marks a new generation for Hyundai’s fullsize threerow SUV line in Canada, bringing enhanced luxury, more space, and updated powertrain options. It comes standard with a 3.5litre V6 that produces 287 horsepower and is paired with an 8speed automatic transmission. AllWheel Drive via Hyundai’s HTRAC system is also standard, with new hybrid powertrain option coming soon: a 2.5litre turbohybrid that bumps output up to about 329 horsepower. The design has been refined, featuring a longer wheelbase (added room especially for second and third rows), modern tech both inside and out, standard 20inch wheels (with optional 18 or 21inch), a panoramic or dual sunroof setup, LED lights, and a smarter, more curved display/interface setup.

In terms of efficiency, pricing, and features, the 2026 Palisade in Canada aims to be competitive in its class. Fuel economy for the V6 model is rated around 12.2L/100km city, 9.7L/100km highway, and about 11.1L/100km combined. Higher trims with more luxury, technology, and comfort options push the price higher. Standard features include seating for eight, heated & ventilated front seats, digital displays for instrument cluster and infotainment, a heated steering wheel, and substantial safety equipment via Hyundai’s SmartSense suite. Options include premium audio, upgraded interior materials, captain’s chairs and secondrow “relaxation” seats, heated third row, and advanced driver aids.
